Like many young adults fresh out of school, I struggled for years to manage my spending, escape constant debt, and find any semblance of financial security. When I finally achieved that breakthrough, I realised something bigger was possible – true financial freedom. My journey took me from writing cheques I couldn't cover for things I didn't need whilst working at a supermarket checkout, to landing corporate roles with six-figure salaries.

But the real transformation came when I changed my approach to money entirely. Instead of accumulating stuff, I learnt to build wealth through income-producing assets. "Buy shares, not shoes" became my personal revelation. Following practical, proven systems across three continents, I gradually mastered the fundamentals of money management.

It took decades to unlearn the bad habits nobody warned me about and develop new beliefs about money – and more importantly, about myself. But here's what I discovered: it doesn't have to be this challenging. And I knew I wasn't alone in this struggle.

I've found a passionate community eager for modernised learning tools that are digital, automated, and well-organised. New generations want simplified financial decision-making with personalised insights and clear recommendations. Questions like "Should I invest inside or outside of super?", "Can I really afford those new shoes?" and "Did I actually spend that much last night?" need straightforward answers.

That's why I left my corporate career and created Obiemoney! My mission is to develop an intuitive, micro-learning financial literacy app that will help millions worldwide create lives of unprecedented choice. I want to guide you, whether you're just starting out or ready for your next financial step.
